StaccShare offers a free plan alongside paid plans that unlock higher storage limits, advanced features, and team collaboration capabilities. This page explains how billing works, how to upgrade or cancel your subscription, and how to manage your payment details.

Plans overview

Free

For personal use and getting started. Includes 5 GB of storage, share links that expire after a maximum of 30 days, and single-user access (no workspace members).

Pro

For power users. Includes unlimited storage, no-expiry share links, custom branding on share pages, and priority support.

Team

Everything in Pro, plus workspace collaboration with multiple members, role-based permissions, and admin controls.

Upgrading your plan

Open Billing settings

Go to Settings → Billing and click Upgrade.

Choose a plan

Select Pro or Team, then choose between monthly or annual billing.

Enter payment details

Enter your card or PayPal details on the secure checkout screen.

Confirm your upgrade

Click Confirm. Your new plan takes effect immediately.
When you upgrade mid-cycle, you’re charged only the prorated amount for the remaining days in your current billing period. Your next full charge occurs at the start of the following billing cycle.

Managing your payment method

To add or update a payment method:
  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Payment methods.
  2. Click Add payment method to add a new one, or click Edit next to an existing method.
  3. Enter your details and save.
StaccShare accepts the following payment methods:
  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • PayPal
You can save multiple payment methods and set one as the default. Charges are always applied to your default payment method.

Invoices

StaccShare automatically generates an invoice for every charge on your account. To view and download your invoices:
  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Invoices.
  2. Click Download PDF next to any invoice.
All invoices are available as downloadable PDFs and include a full breakdown of charges, your plan details, and your billing address.

Cancelling your subscription

To cancel your paid plan:
  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription.
  2. Review the cancellation details and click Confirm cancellation.
Nothing — your paid plan and all its features remain fully active until the end of your current paid billing period.

Frequently asked questions

Your files are always retained — StaccShare never deletes your content when you downgrade. Existing share links remain active. However, if your total storage exceeds the 5 GB free plan limit, you’ll be prompted to delete files to bring your usage back within the limit before you can upload new content.
Yes. Go to Settings → Billing → Change billing period to switch between monthly and annual billing. Switching to annual billing typically offers a discounted rate. The change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Refunds are available within 7 days of a charge. To request a refund, contact the StaccShare support team at support@staccshare.com with your account email and the charge you’d like refunded.
